Islamabad, The Supreme Court of Pakistan has made significant strides in addressing its caseload by disposing of 1,623 cases within a span of five days. Between 16th and 20th October 2023, this remarkable feat was achieved while 359 new cases were registered from 16th to 21st October.
According to a news release by Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan, along with the Hon’ble Judges, remain dedicated to accelerating the disposition of cases, aiming to substantially reduce the backlog. The judicial commitment remains unwavering as the Judges continue to focus on the prompt hearing of cases. Their efforts are in line with the Court’s goal of reducing prolonged litigation and delivering timely relief to all litigants.
