Islamabad, February 14, 2023 (PPI-OT):The meeting of the special committee of the National Assembly for the affected employees was held today under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Qadir Khan Mandukhel, the chairman of the committee at the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services Hall. The meeting was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. We do not have any seceded employees, the chairman committee ordered to solve the problems of 31 employees within 10 days and submit a report.
Officials of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) told the committee that we have forwarded the case of 4 out of 7 employees to the Home Ministry and one out of three employees is non-reinstated, giving details on the committee’s order. Officers said there is an employee named Danish who was recruited in 2013 and we fired him in 2019 because he lied that my father was dead while his father was alive.
FIA inquiry against employee, summons issued, chairman CDA summoned in personal capacity, all recruiting officers and salary disbursing officers also summoned on February 28, committee 135 employees including mostly doctors and the nurses are ordered to extend the contract within one week under the rules and seek details about the 11 daily wages teachers are working.
The FIA officers were asked for an implementation report on the order for the rehabilitation of 3 employees. The officers said that approval has been taken from the DG regarding 89 employees and the matter will be resolved soon. Ordered to issue summons through the speaker’s office, Additional DG called for implementation of the committee’s orders at 2 o’clock tomorrow.
Passport Office
On asking for the implementation of the committee orders, the officers said that a committee has been formed to regularize 135 employees, they will regularize them soon. The committee ordered to regularize the employees within 2 weeks.
NHA
NHA officials said that 212 secede employees have been reinstated, 164 employees have been contacted by the establishment division, they are waiting for the response. To solve the problems of 136 secede employees, they have contacted the Ministry of Law and the Establishment Division. The problems will be solved. The committee ordered that the problems of 136 second employees should be solved and reverted to the committee within a week.
The officers told that we do not have seceded employees, we do not have daily wages, the employees said that we have 132 employees who are working as contract employees in the project but we are not regularized. 17 employees have been fired, the committee ordered that all the employees submit their applications and submit a complete report to the committee within a week.
Kishore Zahra, Asia Azim, Nisar Cheema, Ramesh Lal, Qaiser Ahmad Sheikh, Naveed Ameer Jeeva, Salahuddin Ayubi while Junaid Awan and Chaudhry Manzoor Sahib attended the meeting. The case of 7000 employees of the Ministry of Railways was under hearing, but the meeting was postponed due to the assembly meeting, the meeting will be held again tomorrow at 2 o’clock.
