Islamabad: Superintendent of Police (SP) Soan Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf marked Pakistan Defence Day with a visit to the shrine of Shaheed Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfuz, recipient of the Nishan-e-Haider, Pakistan’s highest military honor.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, SP Ashraf laid a floral wreath at the martyr’s shrine, offered Fateha, and presented a salute in recognition of his sacrifice. He paid tribute to all martyrs and veterans for their contributions to the nation’s defence and security, emphasizing their enduring impact on national pride and patriotism.

SP Ashraf highlighted the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by these martyrs, describing them as the true heroes of the nation. He emphasized the collective duty to uphold their spirit of patriotism and dedication for future generations.

The Islamabad Police also honored the martyrs’ contributions to national security and the protection of citizens, acknowledging their supreme sacrifices.
