Sindh Governor Announces Record-Breaking Independence Day Celebrations in Karachi


Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori has announced that Pakistan is set to celebrate its largest Independence Day event on August 14, featuring performances by renowned artist Atif Aslam and others. The announcement was made during a press conference at the Governor’s House, signaling a significant celebration planned for the city of Karachi.



According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori detailed plans for an Independence Day concert that will host artists from across the nation, expecting around 500,000 attendees. The event will also celebrate the recent victory of national hero Arshad Nadeem, whose achievements have amplified the festive spirit. In addition to entertainment, the event will serve as a platform to foster national pride with an invitation card designed as the national flag.



Governor Tesori also mentioned his recent discussions with the Prime Minister, who visited Karachi and expressed his aspirations for the economic development of the city. He hinted that the Prime Minister might soon deliver promising news for Karachi’s growth, further elevating the significance of this year’s Independence Day celebrations.
