Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Advocates for Peace and Unity During Eid Prayers at Shrine


Multan: Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, accompanied by his sons, observed Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the Shrine of Hazrat Musa Pak Shaheed, where he extended greetings to Muslims nationwide. In his address, he emphasized the importance of patience, unity, and collective responsibility amidst current challenges.



According to Senate of Pakistan, Mr. Gilani urged international institutions to promptly implement measures for conflict prevention and peaceful dispute resolution to avert further instability. He highlighted the ongoing terrorism threats in the country and stressed the need for solidarity with the armed forces, honoring the sacrifices of martyrs through prayer. He further called for harmony among Muslim nations and encouraged caring for underprivileged communities during Eid celebrations.



After speaking to the media, Mr. Gilani participated in special prayers led by Sajjada Nashin Syed Abul Hassan Gilani at the shrine. The event was attended by Member National Assembly Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani, Syed Ali Musa Gilani, Syed Ali Qasim Gilani, Member Provincial Assembly Syed Ali Haider Gilani, former MPA Syed Ahmed Mujtaba, and other dignitaries. Attendees engaged in collective prayers, reaffirming their commitment to unity and solidarity.
