Mohmand district: In a decisive operation, Pakistani security forces successfully neutralized four Khawarij terrorists attempting an attack on the Frontier Corps Headquarters in Mohmand District. The quick response of the troops prevented any damage that could have been caused by the suicide bombers.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the security operation included a thorough sanitization process aimed at ensuring no additional threats remain in the area. The ISPR statement also reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to eradicating the threat of terrorism from the nation.
The operation has garnered praise from the highest levels of government, with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif both commending the bravery and readiness of the security forces. In their separate statements, released by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders expressed national pride in the soldiers’ vigilance and resolve against terrorism. They emphasized that such terrorist attempts will not deter the country’s security apparatus and vowed to continue the fight against terrorism until it is completely eliminated from Pakistan.
