Tirah, Khyber District: Security forces have launched a series of Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) in Tirah, targeting militant groups including Fitna-Al-Khwarij and Laskar-e-Islam, leading to significant militant casualties and the death of four soldiers.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, the operations, which started on August 20, 2024, have led to the death of 25 militants, including a key leader known as Abuzar @ Saddam. The ongoing efforts also resulted in injuries to 11 militants while demonstrating the dedication and bravery of the forces, as evidenced by the loss of four soldiers who were killed in action.
The operations signify a major stride in the security forces’ commitment to eradicate terrorism, underscoring their readiness to confront threats and protect national security.
