Revitalizing Education in Naseerabad: Deputy Commissioner Calls for Action on Non-Functional Schools

Naseerabad: Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Kakar emphasized the urgent need for revitalization of non-functional schools in the Naseerabad district, declaring it a significant challenge during a meeting with the District Education Group. The meeting included discussions on various strategies to enhance educational standards and increase school attendance rates across the district.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting saw the participation of several key figures including Sharif Khanzadi Baloch, Nazr Muhammad Ali, Ahmad Jahanzeb, and Irshad Ali Domki, along with other Deputy District Education Officers. The Deputy Commissioner stressed the necessity of taking serious steps to provide children with quality education and urged all stakeholders to significantly boost educational activities in the area.

Munir Ahmed Kakar outlined specific measures to assess and improve the functioning of schools. He announced that before the next parole session, a comprehensive review of all schools would be conducted. This review will include surprise visits by officers assigned monitoring duties. The aim is to ensure active teaching staff and effective school management. Kakar also stated that any teacher absences would lead to salary deductions and possible departmental action, underscoring the administration’s commitment to accountability.

Furthermore, Kakar called upon UNICEF to contribute positively to these efforts, highlighting the need for collaborative initiatives to sustain and enhance educational outcomes in Naseerabad.

The meeting concluded with directives for the education officers to inspect schools and submit detailed reports, including photographs, to the District Education Officer. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that educational reforms are effectively implemented and that no discrepancies in teacher attendance and school functionality are overlooked.
