Repatriation of Illegal Afghan Residents in Pakistan Proceeds Daily

Islamabad, The ongoing voluntary repatriation process of Afghans, residing unlawfully in Pakistan, is progressing every day. As per the latest figures, on Friday alone, a significant number of 4,423 Afghans made their journey back to their homeland.

According to a news release by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the cumulative count of repatriated Afghan refugees has now reached 56,179. The repatriation is believed to yield positive ramifications for the regional dynamics. Additionally, the government of Pakistan has established a firm deadline for the illegal Afghan residents: they must exit the country by the 31st of October. As of now, only ten days remain for the set deadline to lapse.
