Qalat, The monthly meeting of the District Health Management Committee, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Bilal Shabbir, tackled various pressing issues in the healthcare sector, including staffing shortages and the availability of medical supplies.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting brought together key health officials from Qalat, including Assistant Commissioner Nisar Ahmad Longo, DSMPPHI Mujeeb Baloch, and multiple medical superintendents, to discuss the operational challenges facing local hospitals. Topics such as the attendance of doctors, technical staff shortages, and the supply of medicines were highlighted as critical areas needing immediate attention.
The committee also reviewed the availability of ambulances and other essential services. Deputy Commissioner Shabbir emphasized the district’s commitment to enhancing health facilities and stated that there would be no compromise in efforts to improve healthcare delivery to the community. Coordination with higher authorities is ongoing to address the staffing deficits and ensure that residents receive the best possible medical care.
