Punjab Police Allocate Rs 1.8M for Medical Treatment of Six Officers

Lahore, The Inspector General (IG) of Punjab Police has sanctioned Rs1.8 million for the medical treatment of six police officials. This funding is a significant step towards supporting the health and welfare of the police force’s members.

According to Punjab Police, the funds have been allocated to assist various officers in their medical needs. Constable Tariq Aziz of the Lahore police and Sajjad Hussain of DG Khan have each been granted Rs5 lakh. The funds will be used to cover their medical expenses.

In addition, Constable Rashid Aziz of Bahawalpur, who is undergoing cancer treatment, has also received Rs5 lakh. Another notable allocation includes Rs150,000 to Head Constable of Lahore M Ikram, which will assist in treating the skin condition of his wife and children.

Furthermore, PHP Multan Head Constable Ghulam Abbas has been awarded Rs1 lakh for plastic surgery. Similarly, ASI M Irfan Ahmed from Multan has been allocated Rs1 lakh for the treatment of mental illness.

This financial support by the Punjab Police underscores their commitment to the wellbeing of their officers, ensuring they receive the necessary medical care. It reflects the department’s recognition of the hardships and challenges faced by its members, both in their professional and personal lives.
