LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday expressed appreciation for the successful operation against terrorists near Kalat on the Chaman-Karachi N-25 highway. The operation resulted in the elimination of five terrorists and the safe recovery of 23 hostages.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the chief minister paid tribute to the security forces for their effective action in neutralizing the threat posed by the terrorists. The operation was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to enhance security in the region.

The successful operation underscores the commitment of the provincial government and security agencies to maintain peace and protect citizens. The hostages were safely evacuated, and no casualties were reported among the security personnel involved in the operation.
