LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Punjab, Bilal Yasin, highlighted the significance of September 6 as a pivotal moment in Pakistan’s history, marking it as a day of national unity and patriotism. In a statement issued on Defence Day, the minister emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Armed Forces.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Yasin paid homage to the fallen and acknowledged the unwavering resolve of the nation to defend Pakistan. He underscored the collective support of the populace for the Armed Forces in safeguarding the country’s security and sovereignty.

Yasin further stressed the importance of national unity and mutual understanding as essential elements for a robust Pakistan. He called for the patriotism and sacrifices of the martyrs to serve as inspiration for strengthening the nation. Defence Day, he noted, is an occasion to honor national heroes and renew commitments to Pakistan’s development and security.
