Prime Minister Sharif Orders Strengthened Security Measures in Balochistan

Islamabad: In a critical move to bolster the security landscape of Balochistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has mandated comprehensive measures to enhance the province’s law and order situation. This directive came during a high-level meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, focusing on recent security challenges, including terrorist attacks.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions on Tuesday were informed by a detailed briefing from Chief Minister Bugti regarding the ongoing security dynamics and the broader situation in Balochistan. Prime Minister Sharif condemned the recent terrorist attacks as cowardly, underscoring that such acts of violence are inexcusable and highlighting the valor of security forces who thwarted these threats at great personal risk.

In response to these incidents, the Prime Minister has ordered an immediate crackdown on terrorist networks, including the identification and decisive action against those involved in orchestrating violence. These steps are part of a broader strategy to restore and maintain peace in the region.
