Jeddah: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Saudi Arabia, marking the commencement of his four-day tour across three nations. This visit aims to bolster diplomatic relations and discuss regional developments, with the first stop being a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister is joined by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi. Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, the delegation was received by the Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq.
In addition to Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Sharif’s itinerary includes a visit to Qatar, where he will meet with the country’s leadership to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation and regional peace and security. The tour will culminate in Türkiye, where he will participate in the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum. At the forum, he will join the Leaders’ Panel to present Pakistan’s perspective and engage in bilateral meetings with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other prominent world leaders. This tour underscores Pakistan’s commitment to active diplomacy and international collaboration.
