Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif Engages in Key Events in Karachi Amidst Economic Talks


Karachi: Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Karachi on August 9 was marked by a series of high-profile engagements, including an opening ceremony at the Expo Center and strategic meetings, highlighting his active involvement in fostering international business relations and local governance issues.



According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Kamran Khan Tesori welcomed the Prime Minister at PAF Base Shahrah Faisal. Following the reception, the Prime Minister presided over an opening ceremony at the Expo Center, then moved to the Chief Minister’s House for a high-level meeting, which was attended via video link by other key officials. The day’s events also included a luncheon hosted at a local hotel in honor of delegations from international companies attending the second Food and Agriculture Expo, underscoring the government’s commitment to enhancing partnerships in these sectors.



The visit culminated with Governor Tesori personally driving the Prime Minister back to PAF Base Shahrah Faisal, symbolizing the close coordination between provincial and federal governments in addressing the country’s economic and developmental challenges.
