Prime Minister Extends Eid-ul-Fitr Greetings to Military and Political Leaders


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif conveyed Eid-ul-Fitr greetings through telephone calls to key figures in Pakistan’s military and political spheres. The Prime Minister reached out to the chiefs of the country’s armed forces as well as various political leaders to mark the festive occasion.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister spoke with Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf. During these conversations, he extended Eid greetings to the Services Chiefs and recognized the efforts of soldiers and officers serving on the nation’s borders during the holiday.



Additionally, the Prime Minister extended his greetings to political leaders, including Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Governor Sindh Nehal Hashmi, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, and Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail. He also contacted Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah.



Furthermore, the Prime Minister reached out to key political figures such as Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Chairman MQM-Pakistan Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, President Awami National Party Aimal Wali Khan, President Balochistan Awami Party Sardar Khalid Hussain Magsi, President Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Abdul Aleem Khan, and senior leader Pakistan Muslim League-Q Chaudhry Salik Hussain to exchange Eid greetings.
