Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has conveyed his congratulations to the Government and people of Nepal in recognition of their Constitution Day and National Day, emphasizing the enduring relationship between the two nations.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari expressed his sentiments in a letter addressed to President Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal. He underscored the longstanding and cordial relations shared by Pakistan and Nepal, rooted in mutual respect, trust, and goodwill, and strengthened by the close bonds of friendship between their peoples.
President Zardari highlighted the importance Pakistan places on its relationship with Nepal, noting the value of bilateral cooperation within the framework of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and other multilateral forums. He conveyed optimism that the friendly relations between the two countries will continue to flourish and expand for the mutual benefit of their citizens.
