President Zardari Emphasizes Teacher Empowerment and Professional Development on World Teachers’ Day


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari today highlighted the critical role of teachers in society and underscored the need for enhanced training and better working conditions in his message for World Teachers’ Day.



According to Press Information Department, the president described teachers as the “architects of society,” essential for nurturing young minds and fostering qualities such as critical thinking, creativity, and ethical values. He called for the establishment of rigorous standards for teachers’ recruitment, ongoing education, training, and certification to bolster educational outcomes.



The president also pointed out the current challenges faced by educators, including insufficient training and limited opportunities for professional growth. He advocated for a comprehensive monitoring and performance evaluation system and emphasized the importance of creating a conducive work environment that allows teachers to perform their duties effectively.



In his address, President Zardari called for leveraging the experiences of teachers to enhance the education system and stressed the importance of respecting and supporting educators.
