KALAT: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the security forces for their successful operation against terrorists on Pakistan Highway near Kalat, Balochistan. In their separate statements, they expressed appreciation for the forces’ effective action, which resulted in neutralizing members of the terrorist group Fitna al-Hindustan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the operation also led to the safe rescue of abductees and the recovery of various vehicles, including trucks and buses, from the terrorists’ hideout. The President emphasized the nation’s solidarity with its security forces in the ongoing fight against terrorism. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister reiterated the commitment to continue decisive counter-terrorism efforts under operation “Azm-e-Istehkam” to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
