Lahore: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has called for a concentrated effort to enhance the country’s manufacturing sector and prioritize export-oriented industries to stabilize and strengthen Pakistan’s economy. Speaking at the Pakistan International Auto Show in Lahore, he highlighted the significant role of the automotive industry within the nation’s industrial framework.

According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Iqbal emphasized the necessity for Pakistan to evolve into an export-oriented economy, moving away from reliance on traditional economic strategies. He underscored the importance of collaboration between the government and the private sector to encourage value addition in industries, assuring manufacturers of the government’s unwavering support in these endeavors.
