Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Ali Wasim conducted inspections at Aabpara and Kohsar Police Stations and reviewed security arrangements at the Zero Point checkpoint.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, DIG Wasim inspected multiple sections within the police stations, including front desks, record rooms, lock-ups, and police messes. The inspection aimed to assess the services and facilities available to citizens and police personnel. He issued directives to maintain cleanliness, ensure the quality of food, and enhance facilities for officers.

During his visits, DIG Wasim engaged with citizens, addressing their complaints and instructing officers to resolve issues promptly. He emphasized the need for regular office hours dedicated to public facilitation and ordered the timely completion of police records and swift case resolutions. He also called for intensified operations against criminal gangs and action against proclaimed offenders.

At the Zero Point checkpoint, DIG Wasim scrutinized security measures and instructed officers to maintain vigilant checks on people and vehicles. He reiterated that the protection of citizens and effective policing are top priorities for the Islamabad Police.
