President Dr. Arif Alvi Advocates for Drastic Measures to Enroll 26 Million Out-of-School Children

Islamabad, On the occasion of World Education Day, President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized the urgent need for an education emergency to address the challenge of around twenty-six million out-of-school children in Pakistan. He proposed significant measures to tackle this critical issue.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Alvi, while addressing an event, suggested the creation of a mechanism that would involve newly graduated and intermediate students in teaching out-of-school children. He recommended offering these young educators a stipend as an incentive for their participation in this initiative.

The President’s call to action highlights the pressing need for innovative and impactful solutions to ensure educational access for all children in Pakistan. His proposal aims to mobilize a significant segment of the country’s youth in an effort to bridge the educational gap and promote a more inclusive and educated society.
