Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended high praise to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its significant achievements throughout its history. In separate messages shared on Pakistan Air Force Day, observed today, they expressed national pride in the PAF’s demonstration of capability and dominance in aerial conflicts over the decades.
According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari emphasized the PAF’s decisive role in collaboration with sister services during Marka-e-Haq, highlighting how it delivered a formidable blow to adversaries, garnering global recognition. Prime Minister Sharif reflected on the events of September 1965, noting the determination and commitment of PAF aviators in protecting Pakistan’s airspace, which led to their triumph in aerial engagements. He also expressed his hopes for the continued success and advancement of the PAF.
