Lahore: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have jointly reiterated their dedication to maintaining the stability of the coalition government. This reaffirmation came during a meeting of the coordination committees of both parties held in Lahore on Saturday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the PPP delegation was led by former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan. On the other hand, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar headed the PML-N delegation. The meeting’s agenda included a review of the implementation of decisions from a prior session, with both parties expressing satisfaction over the progress achieved.

The two political parties stressed that their alliance is not a temporary arrangement but an ongoing partnership focused on ensuring both political and national stability.
