Pakistan’s Military Leadership Reaffirms Commitment to National Security at Corps Commanders’ Conference


RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS and CDF, led the 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, emphasizing Pakistan’s dedication to national defense and regional stability. The conference addressed key security concerns, counter-terrorism operations, and diplomatic engagements, with a focus on enhancing Pakistan’s global standing and maintaining operational excellence.



According to Inter Services Public Relations, the Forum began by honoring the sacrifices of the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians who have died defending Pakistan. The attendees reaffirmed that these sacrifices are foundational to the country’s security. The COAS and CDF praised the Armed Forces for their professionalism and operational success, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the government, military, and citizens in strengthening Pakistan’s security and economic resilience.



The Forum reviewed security threats, specifically targeting terrorist proxies linked to Indian and other external sponsors, and committed to ongoing operations to eliminate these threats. The pace of Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq will continue until terrorist bases in Afghanistan are dismantled. Additionally, the Forum commended Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in the Middle East and condemned recent attacks on Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical facilities, urging restraint and dialogue to resolve conflicts.



The Forum also rejected misinformation and baseless allegations from India, highlighting concern over human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. In closing, the COAS and CDF instructed commanders to maintain high operational readiness and adaptability to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
