Islamabad, 16 Oct 2023: In response to the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Pakistan has announced its decision to dispatch immediate relief assistance, aiming to alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinian people.

The Foreign Office shared that coordination is currently underway with the Red Crescent Society, pertinent United Nations agencies, Egypt, and Pakistan’s foreign missions to determine the most effective means of delivery. Given the siege on the Gaza Strip, the densely populated region’s residents are in desperate and immediate need of humanitarian aid, the office added.
