Islamabad: Pakistan has dispatched 100 tons of humanitarian aid to Nepal in response to the recent floods and landslides that have ravaged the country. The relief effort, directed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, is aimed at supporting Nepalese communities struggling in the aftermath of the natural disasters.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) coordinated the relief shipment, which included essential supplies such as tents, blankets, mats, hygiene kits, and medicines. The consignment was flown from Islamabad to Kathmandu via a chartered flight.

A send-off ceremony took place at Islamabad International Airport, attended by Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, the Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NDMA. The aid initiative underscores Pakistan’s commitment to stand with the Government and people of Nepal during this challenging period.
