KARACHI: The Pakistan Navy has launched its significant maritime exercise, SEASPARK-2026, in Karachi, with the Chief of Naval Staff presiding over the opening session. This large-scale exercise is designed to rigorously assess the Navy’s combat readiness to counter both conventional and emerging maritime threats, incorporating a wide array of naval and joint forces components.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the exercise integrates Ships, Submarines, Aircraft, Unmanned Systems, Marines, Special Forces, and joint elements from the Army and Air Force. The Chief of Naval Staff, who recently visited the Pakistan Navy Fleet units, emphasized the importance of readiness in the face of an evolving security environment. He underlined the necessity for enhanced tri-service integration, adaptability, and effectiveness across both physical and information domains.

SEASPARK-2026 aims to rehearse Multi-Domain Operations by integrating maritime, air, land, cyber, and space-enabled capabilities. The exercise also focuses on Operations in the Information Environment to ensure a decisive advantage in the information battlespace, aligning these efforts with kinetic operations at sea.
