Xinjiang: Pakistan-China joint military exercise Karakoram 2026 is currently underway in China’s Xinjiang province. The exercise involves specialized training modules that include drone operations, tracking moving targets, and conducting firing drills.
According to Radio Pakistan, the exercise also places emphasis on long-range marksmanship, joint command operations, and practical combat drills. The armed forces of both countries are engaged in exchanging counterterrorism experiences. Additionally, Pakistan Army personnel are observing Chinese weapons systems as part of the exercise.
