ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Syed Iftikhar Ali Gillani, to discuss strategies for the development of the region. The meeting, held in Islamabad, focused on promoting economic growth and improving social conditions in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders emphasized the necessity of a shared approach to tackle the development needs of the region and to create more opportunities for its residents. Ishaq Dar expressed optimism that the new government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir would fulfill the aspirations of its people. He reiterated the commitment of the Government of Pakistan to support the welfare and prosperity of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, aligning with their needs and desires.
