Pakistan Condemns Houthi Militia’s Drone Attack on Makkah Mukarramah

Islamabad: Pakistan has condemned a drone attack by the Houthi militia targeting the holy city of Makkah Mukarramah, calling it a violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a threat to regional stability. The attack has been described as an affront to the religious sentiments of Muslims globally.

According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar expressed these views in a post on X. He stated that the attack endangers regional peace and security and asserted Pakistan’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Saudi leadership in protecting the sanctity of the Two Holy Mosques and ensuring the safety of pilgrims, citizens, and residents.
