Pakistan Condemns Houthi Attack on Madinah Power Facility


Islamabad: Pakistan has issued a condemnation of the Houthi militia’s attack on the Taibah power distribution station in Madinah, which occurred on September 29, 2026. The attack targeted civilian infrastructure that provides electricity to the Mosque of the Holy Prophet, prompting concerns over the safety of worshippers and pilgrims.



According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the incident is considered a significant provocation and a matter of concern for millions of Muslims globally. Pakistan has called for an immediate end to such actions, emphasizing the threat they pose to regional peace and security. The statement affirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia, supporting the kingdom’s sovereignty and efforts to protect its citizens and holy sites.
