Ankara: The Pakistan-Turkiye Joint Commando and Special Forces Exercise, Jinnah-XIII, was successfully conducted in Turkiye, with a focus on counterterrorism operations. Combat units from the Pakistan Army collaborated with their Turkish counterparts in a series of training exercises held in Ankara and Isparta.
According to Radio Pakistan, the exercise met all its training and military diplomacy objectives, with troops from both countries exhibiting high standards of professionalism and operational excellence. The primary goal was to refine tactics and procedures relevant to counterterrorism, with particular attention to combat in built-up areas and countering improvised explosive devices through joint training.
The exercise also aimed to strengthen the longstanding military-to-military relations between the two nations, reinforcing their historic ties through cooperative defense initiatives.
