Islamabad: The 9th Session of the Pakistan-Belarus Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) on Trade and Economic Cooperation is set to take place in Islamabad on August 12, 2026, marking a significant step in the bilateral relations between the two nations.
According to Press Information Department, an 18-member high-level Belarusian delegation, led by H.E. Dzianis Maroz, the Minister of Energy of Belarus, has arrived in Islamabad to participate in the event. The technical session of the JMC was conducted today, focusing on various sectors such as trade, industry, agriculture, banking, labor, transport, and information technology.
Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, alongside H.E. Dzianis Maroz, will co-chair the ministerial session tomorrow. The agenda includes ministerial addresses and bilateral discussions, culminating in the signing of the JMC Protocol and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
