Lahore, July 04, 2023 (PPI-OT): On the instructions of the Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the cordon around the fugitive advertisers abroad has been further tightened. Pakistan has brought. Spokesman of Punjab Police said that Muhammad Arshad, an advertiser, was on the run for 10 years and was hiding his identity and was living a secret life in different countries. After fulfilling the legal requirements with the help of the pool, the Punjab Police team has taken the accused from Italy to Pakistan. Spokesman Punjab Police further said that the accused Muhammad Arshad killed his opponent Shahab Deen in police custody in 2013 and two policemen Gulfanullah and Iftikhar Ahmed were also martyred in the exchange of fire with the accused.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar praised the performance of CPO Gujranwala Rana Ayaz Saleem, Inspector Khalid Nawaz Waria and Sub Inspector Chaman Shehzad while congratulating the team that arrested and brought the dangerous advertisement to Pakistan. He has issued orders to speed up actions against advertisers involved in kidnapping for ransom and other incidents and he further said that the process of arresting dangerous advertisers should be accelerated with the help of Interpol and FIA.
