Jeddah: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned recent attacks by the Houthi group on Makkah and the Madinah region in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the threat these actions pose to civilian safety and regional stability.
According to Radio Pakistan, the OIC’s General Secretariat issued a statement denouncing the Houthi attacks as violations of the sanctity of sacred sites and an affront to global Muslim sentiments. The organization classified these acts as terrorism, contrary to Islamic values and international standards.
The OIC’s General Secretariat called for decisive action against those responsible for infringing on these holy sites and reiterated its unwavering support for Saudi Arabia’s efforts to safeguard its territories and ensure the protection of its citizens and religious landmarks.
