Islamabad: Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau, Lieutenant General, Retired, Nazir Ahmed, met with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb to discuss the bureau’s ongoing initiatives against corruption and their financial impact on the national treasury.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the Chairman outlined significant anti-graft initiatives spearheaded by the National Accountability Bureau, emphasizing their role in recovering funds for the national exchequer. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to enhance accountability mechanisms within the Government of Pakistan.

The Finance Minister expressed appreciation for the progress reported by the bureau and reiterated the Ministry of Finance’s commitment to supporting these initiatives. He emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to achieve the country’s national goals.
