Riyadh: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to bolster their cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, data governance, and emerging technologies. This agreement was reached in a meeting between Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi, President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, during the LEAP 2026 Conference in Riyadh.

According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Khawaja briefed President Alghamdi on Pakistan’s ongoing initiatives aimed at advancing its national agenda for artificial intelligence and data governance. She stressed Pakistan’s dedication to developing a robust data ecosystem and enhancing the country’s digital economy. The meeting signifies a strengthened partnership between the two nations in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
