Muzaffarabad, A protest rally took place in Muzaffarabad today in response to the severe air strikes by the Israeli military targeting a hospital in Gaza.
Kashmir Media Service reports that the protest, orchestrated by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir in association with the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights, saw participants march from Khatam-e-Nabuwat (SAW chowk) to the AJK Assembly gate, voicing their dissent against Israeli actions with chants like “Free Palestine”, “Stop Israeli attacks”, and other related slogans.
Speakers during the protest emphasized the gravity of the Israeli military’s actions, highlighting the harm caused to injured individuals in the hospital, medical personnel, and innocent civilians in Gaza. They expressed their condemnation for the use of prohibited phosphorus bombs by the Israeli army on Gaza citizens, positioning Israel as a significant threat to global peace. They stressed that for global tranquility to prevail, Israeli troops must withdraw from Palestine and Indian forces from occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, along with several other leaders, guided the protest and showed solidarity with the affected people of Gaza.
