Islamabad: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has responded to complaints that private Hajj operators are refusing bookings, despite available quotas. The ministry has urged affected pilgrims to report such incidents through official channels.

According to Radio Pakistan, spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt announced that several private tour operators are falsely claiming their quotas are full, although seats remain available on the Hajj portal. This statement was released amid growing concerns from prospective pilgrims.

Intending pilgrims have been advised to file formal complaints if they encounter refusal of bookings from operators with available capacity. Complaints can be submitted using the “Inquiry” feature on the Pak Hajj App or by emailing the Section Officer Monitoring at [email protected].

The ministry emphasized its commitment to transparent booking processes and safeguarding the interests of pilgrims participating in the private Hajj scheme.
