TEHRAN: Iran has expressed its appreciation for Pakistan’s initiatives to foster peace and stability in the region, as conveyed by Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni during a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Mohsin Naqvi in Tehran.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Iranian Interior Minister extended gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their contributions to regional peace efforts. The meeting also covered discussions on bilateral relations and the current regional landscape.

Both ministers reviewed the progress of ongoing collaborations between their respective interior ministries. Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reiterated his commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations in the future.
