Loralai Police Crackdown Nets Illegal Liquor and Weapons; Arrests Made

Loralai: Under the direction of DIG Loralai Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani and DPO Loralai Zafar Buzdar, a successful raid was conducted by local law enforcement, leading to the arrest of individuals for possession of illicit liquor and firearms. The operation, closely overseen by SDP President Kalimullah Jalalzai and carried out by CIA in-charge Muhammad Arif Kakar SI and his team, targeted a known drug dealer’s hideout in Hazara Mohalla, resulting in significant seizures and arrests.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the raid resulted in the discovery and confiscation of 24 bottles of liquor at the residence of Masmi Sheryar, who is alleged to be involved in drug trafficking. Sheryar, identified as the son of Baran Khan, was arrested during the operation, and a case has been registered against him under Section 3.4 of the Prohibition of Narcotic Drugs Act. In a related incident, Masmi Ali Khan, son of Gulab Khan, was also arrested for possessing an unlicensed TT 30 bore 6mm pistol. A separate case under the Arms Act has been filed against Khan.

The local police, under the guidance of senior officials, are continuing their investigation into these incidents. DIG Loralai has issued a statement ensuring that efforts to combat drug dealing and illegal weapon possession will persist, emphasizing that no amnesty will be offered to those found violating the law.

The Loralai police have also called on residents to cooperate by reporting any suspicious activities, highlighting the importance of public support in eradicating such criminal activities from the community.
