Legal Community Leaders Meet with Federal Minister for Law & Justice to Discuss Professional Matters


Islamabad: Office-bearers and leaders from several Bar Associations met with Federal Minister for Law & Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar to discuss a range of issues impacting the legal community. The meetings focused on addressing professional challenges, enhancing cooperation within the legal sector, and fostering collaboration between Bar Associations and the government.



According to Press Information Department, the meeting was attended by key figures from the legal fraternity, including Syed Yousaf Khan, President of the High Court Bar Association Rawalpindi, and Qasim Mahmood Malik, Secretary General of the same association. Other notable attendees were Tariq Mahmood Sajid Awan, President of the District Bar Association Rawalpindi, and Ms. Samina Qureshi, President of the Lahore High Court Bar Association, Bahawalpur Bench.



The discussions underscored various issues faced by the legal community and explored ways to improve engagement with the Ministry of Law & Justice. Senator Tarar emphasized the role of the legal fraternity in ensuring the effective delivery of justice and highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening ties with Bar Associations.



The meetings ended with a shared commitment to enhance cooperation on professional matters and to advance mutual interests, aiming for a more robust legal system through ongoing dialogue and collaboration.
