Islamabad: Key government buildings, including the President’s Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Parliament House, and Cabinet Secretariat, will be lit in pink on the evenings of 19 and 20 October to commemorate Pinktober, the annual breast cancer awareness campaign.
According to Press Information Department, this initiative, directed by First Lady Bibi Asifa Bhutto Zardari, aims to raise public awareness about breast cancer, emphasize the importance of early detection, and encourage timely medical consultation. The buildings will remain illuminated in pink from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on both nights, reinforcing the message that awareness and early diagnosis can save lives.
