KARACHI: On the directives of Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Karachi is witnessing a series of civic, public-safety, sanitation, and development activities aiming to enhance the city’s infrastructure and public well-being. A citywide fumigation campaign has commenced to address the changing weather conditions and bolster preventive measures against seasonal effects and insects, particularly around Zainab Market and other areas in Saddar.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentary Leader, Karamullah Waqasi, emphasized the ongoing improvements in civic facilities and the restoration of public spaces. The KMC Sports Complex in Landhi, previously inactive, has been renovated and now offers modern sports amenities. Meanwhile, development efforts are visible in District Keamari, with initiatives such as the paver block work in Naval Colony.

Waqasi highlighted Safari Park’s transformation into a recreational destination and noted development projects across Karachi. Mehranisa Road in District Korangi, a significant connector road, has been completed with enhanced infrastructure. These efforts are part of a continued focus on public service activities under Mayor Wahab’s leadership, showcasing the city’s evolving landscape through restored facilities and ongoing projects.
