NEW YORK: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in New York with a small delegation to participate in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The visit aims to address Pakistan’s stance on regional and global issues, with a focus on dialogue and diplomacy.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi. During his visit, Prime Minister Sharif is scheduled to deliver a speech to the United Nations General Assembly on the 25th of this month. In his address, he will outline Pakistan’s position on the evolving security situation and emphasize the need for peaceful conflict resolution.

The Prime Minister’s agenda includes highlighting Pakistan’s diplomatic and mediation efforts to reduce tensions and enhance stability in the region. He will also discuss Pakistan’s priorities concerning global issues such as sustainable development, climate change, terrorism, Islamophobia, and economic challenges.
