Karachi, A special ceremony was held to honor sub-inspectors of the Karachi police who have been promoted to the rank of inspector. The event, which took place at the Central Police Office Karachi and Garden Police Headquarters South, was attended by IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtar Raja as a special guest, along with the families of the promoted officers.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Sindh, IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtar Raja congratulated the newly promoted inspectors on behalf of himself and the Sindh Police. He acknowledged their hard work and loyalty to the department, highlighting the importance of their families and friends in their success.

During the ceremony, IG Sindh expressed hope that the promoted officers would continue to perform their responsibilities with dedication and excellence. He remarked that the promotion was not only a moment of happiness for the officers and their families but also a reminder of the duty to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.

IG Sindh emphasized the importance of serving humanity and giving back to the community as a way of showing gratitude for their blessings. He noted the ongoing efforts to improve the police department, mentioning plans for further promotions of DSPs and SSPs and the introduction of a quarterly promotion process.

He reiterated that departmental promotion is a rightful claim of the officers and that efforts are underway to fill the vacant posts of inspectors.

The ceremony was a significant occasion for the promoted officers and their families, who offered prayers for IG Sindh. The event also saw the participation of Additional IG Karachi Khadim Hussain Rand, along with DIGs and District SSPs of Karachi.
