Karachi Governor Hosts Business Proposal Ceremony, Distributes Grants and Awards

Karachi, In a notable event at Governor House, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri chaired a ceremony where local entrepreneurs presented business proposals under the Rozga scheme, receiving both financial aid and several awards. The function was marked by direct support for promising business initiatives and acknowledgment of various community members with valuable gifts, including the latest technology.

According to Sindh Governor House, the event was part of Governor Tesuri’s commitment to fostering economic growth and entrepreneurship in the region. During the ceremony, a select number of business proposals were approved immediately, demonstrating the government’s proactive approach to encouraging local enterprises. Notably, financial grants and a vehicle were awarded to assist entrepreneurs in kickstarting or expanding their businesses.

Furthermore, special recognition was given during the ceremony, with an iPhone 15 awarded to the oldest journalist, the youngest student, and an elderly woman, underscoring the inclusive nature of the event. Governor Tesuri highlighted the innovative contributions of Zafar Abbas, who originated the idea for the Rozga scheme, and reiterated his dedication to the economic prosperity of Pakistan through such initiatives.

Among the beneficiaries were entrepreneurs from diverse sectors, including Kulsoom Fazal of a beauty parlor, Shahid Badr of a medical store, and others such as a photographer, a software developer, and various service providers. A notable highlight was the immediate provision of one lakh rupees to a woman for registering her business, and the presentation of an auto vehicle to a disabled individual, demonstrating tangible support for disadvantaged community members.
