Karachi Governor Distributes Motorbikes to Victims of Street Crimes


Karachi, In a significant move aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by victims of street crimes, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori has distributed motorbikes to 208 individuals affected by such incidents between October 1 and December 31, 2023. This initiative, marked by its independence from government funding, seeks to offer tangible support to those impacted by criminal activities in the region.



According to Sindh Governor House, the distribution ceremony highlighted the governor’s commitment to providing maximum convenience to the people without utilizing a single rupee of government funds. This approach underscores a unique model of welfare, leveraging alternative resources to aid citizens directly affected by street crimes.



Governor Tesori, who has embraced the title of “Public Governor,” expressed pride in the initiative, viewing it as a step forward in addressing the concerns of crime victims and enhancing their mobility and sense of security. By focusing on individuals who have suffered losses due to street crimes, the effort aims to mitigate some of the adverse effects these incidents have on daily life.
